The Wool Dispensary Goes to YarnCon - We've Been Funded!
TWD launched a project on Kickstarter. We asked for your help in raising at least $2,500 to start our line of kettle dyed yarns and knitting patterns. On Wednesday, August 10th, we surpassed our goal by $800 and our Kickstarter project was successfully funded! Thanks to everyone who supported us with funding, kind words, online promotion and love! About TWD Yarns
Our yarns are extremely limited and special. Sourcing from small farms and mills we plan to support U.S. farm industry as much as we can. There are no formal dye lots, which means that each time we dye our yarns, they turn out a little bit different.
What is YarnCon?
YarnCon is Chicago's own yarn-centric exhibition -- a place to promote, sell, and celebrate the yarny arts, scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse in Chicago, IL.
Your funding helped us purchase yarn for dyeing, dye for the yarn, and transport, displays and labels to tell you what we're selling! And other miscellaneous business expenses that appear along the way.
